Koenig Details Accounting Misdeeds At Enron

Law360, New York (February 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Jurors in the trial of former Enron executives Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling heard a tape Thursday during which Skilling lashed out at an analyst who questioned Enron’s ability to produce actual numbers to back up its earnings statements.

On the tape, now infamous among Wall Street analysts, Skilling is confronted by Richard Grubman, a manager of a hedge fund named Highfields Capital that had been known as a short-seller of Enron stock.
