Taft Stettinius Gets Call To Guide NY's Casino Expansion

Law360, New York (March 24, 2014, 3:16 PM EDT) -- New York state authorities said Monday that they have chosen Midwestern legal powerhouse Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP for legal help potentially worth millions of dollars in selecting winning applicants for the state's casino expansion, picking a firm that already subcontracts with capital and banking companies working on the project.

The 400-lawyer firm, which has no office in New York, is already working with Christiansen Capital Advisors and investment bank Houlihan Lokey Capital Inc. on the project, the New York Gaming Facility Location Board said.
