Arkema Settles With US Over Chemical Exports To Syria

Law360, New York (March 24, 2014, 5:03 PM EDT) -- The Dutch business unit of French chemical giant Arkema SA on Friday struck a deal to settle allegations brought by the U.S. Department of Commerce that the company violated U.S. export regulations by shipping a chemical fuel agent to Syria without authorization from the government.
