Viagra Judge Strikes Expert's Testimony

Law360, New York (April 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Drugmaker Pfizer Inc. scored a victory in ongoing multidistrict litigation over Viagra when a judge decided Wednesday to bar the testimony of most of the plaintiffs' nominated causation experts on the issue of a link between the blockbuster impotence drug and eye damage.

The company also managed to save the testimony of its own three experts, one of whom was accused of relying on studies sponsored by Pfizer itself.
