RE Rumor Mill: DEA, Hudson Cos., Sekisui House

By Kaitlin Ugolik (March 28, 2014, 7:20 PM EDT) -- The Drug Enforcement Agency's New York Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Strike Force has reportedly agreed to lease 56,000 square feet at Brookfield Place, Brookfield Office Properties' massive downtown complex that has recently attracted more of the tech and publishing crowd. The group is moving from its current location at 85 10th Ave., Crain's reported. The deal is reportedly structured so that the DEA's name will be on the lease, but the strike force will occupy the space. The strike force includes members of federal, state and city crime-fighting organizations, including the DEA, NYPD, FBI, state police, Homeland Security, the U.S. Secret Service and the Internal Revenue Service....
