Ford, GM, Samsung Sued Over Navigation Units

Law360, New York (April 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An inventor who has already garnered several licensing agreements for his real-time traffic navigation technology has hit several automotive and technology giants, including General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co. and Samsung Electronics America Inc., with patent infringement claims.

Adamasu Gebre filed an infringement suit against eighteen companies, including Hitachi Automotive Products, Sprint Nextel Corp., Siemens VDO Automotive Corp. and Volvo Cars Of North America Inc. on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
