Wachovia, JP Morgan Face 3 Antitrust Class Actions

Law360, New York (April 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wachovia Bank NA, JP Morgan Chase & Co. and UBS AG are among the targets of three putative antitrust class actions, all of which allege a conspiracy to fix prices and rig bids for municipal derivatives, Wachovia disclosed in a regulatory filing on Monday.

Filed in March, the three suits all assert claims for violations of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, and one includes a claim for unjust enrichment, according to the Form 8-K Wachovia filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
