Fla. Aerospace Co. Says Employee Stole Data, F-16 Parts

Law360, New York (April 24, 2014, 4:17 PM ET) -- A Miami aerospace company sued one of its engineers in Florida state court on Monday, alleging he stole computers, fighter plane parts and intellectual property belonging to the company, third-party defense contractors and the U.S. military.

According to Summit Aerospace Inc., Eduardo Lima, president of Innovative Technologies Inc., a company that provided internal, on-premise engineering services to Summit, sneaked into the Summit offices on the morning of April 6 to steal computers, proprietary testing equipment, F-16 fighter jet parts and intellectual property belonging to Boeing Co.,...
