GM Judge Wants Quick Ruling On Bankruptcy Shield's Fate

Law360, New York (May 02, 2014, 5:54 PM ET) -- A New York bankruptcy judge said Friday that he wants to rule on whether General Motors Co. duped him in 2009 to win protection from its previous incarnation's liabilities before permitting consumer attorneys to conduct costly discovery of when executives knew about a prebankruptcy ignition switch defect.
