Honeywell Power Unit Patent Not Infringed: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (April 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appellate judge ruled on Friday that Hamilton Sustrand Corp. did not infringe two Honeywell Inc. patents related to aircraft power systems, affirming a ruling by a district court in 2006.

Judge Randall Rader, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, agreed with the lower court that Honeywell was barred from claiming infringement because of prosecution history estoppel.
