U.S. Senator Calls On FCC To Block XM-Sirius Deal

Law360, New York (April 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Democrat senator has joined the swelling ranks of lawmakers urging the federal communications watchdog to stop the contentious merger of satellite radio companies XM and Sirius.

U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) on Friday called on the Federal Communications Commission to reject the “illogical course” of the U.S. Department of Justice, which approved the deal in late March.
