6th Circ. Defends Dish's Credit Check In ID Theft Case

Law360, New York (May 13, 2014, 6:11 PM ET) -- The Sixth Circuit said on Tuesday that Dish Network LLC isn’t liable under the Fair Credit Reporting Act for accessing a man’s credit report when a would-be identity thief attempted to order pay TV using the man’s personal information.
