Doctors To Speak For Both Sides In Fen-Phen Trial

Law360, New York (April 23, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge ruled on Friday that Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Inc. and a woman alleging the company's appetite suppressant Pondimin caused her to develop a fatal disease could both bring their chosen expert witnesses to an upcoming trial.

Becky Wright, the plaintiff, filed the case in 2006, saying that after taking Pondimin she developed a fatal condition called primary pulmonary hypertension. A pretrial conference is set for Friday.
