Genentech Must Pay $300M In Royalties Case: Court

Law360, New York (April 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The California Supreme Court ruled Thursday that biotech company Genentech must pay $300 million in compensatory damages to City of Hope National Medical Center in a dispute over royalties on insulin and human growth hormone, but the court blocked $200 million in punitive damages.
