Net2Phone Hits Back At EBay In VoIP Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (April 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Voice Over Internet Protocol company Net2Phone has accused eBay Inc. of infringing three of its patents, two months after eBay sued Net2Phone for infringing one of its own patents.

In its answer to eBay's complaint filed last week in the Western District of Arkansas, Net2Phone, a subsidiary of New Jersey-based telecom company IDT Corp., denies that it infringed eBay's patent and claims that eBay's patent is invalid and its suit is barred under the doctrine of estoppel.
