Apple Faces Patent Suit Over IPod Connector

Law360, New York (April 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Michigan man is suing Apple Inc., alleging that some of the computer maker's iPod products infringe his patent for a flash memory drive and connector.

Plaintiff Henry Milan's complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Thursday, claims that several Apple products infringe U.S. Patent Number 6,991,483, “Flash memory drive with quick connector,” which was issued to him in 2002 and extended in 2006.
