Plastech Asks For More Time To File Exit Plan

Law360, New York (April 29, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Plastech Engineered Products Inc. is asking a federal bankruptcy judge to extend its exclusivity period for filing a reorganization plan by four months in order to give the bankrupt auto supplier more time to analyze its financial circumstances.

In court documents filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Plastech beseeched Judge Phillip J. Shefferly to grant an extension to its plan-filing period from May 31 to Sept. 28 and to its solicitation period from July 30 to Dec. 1....
