Fla. Justices Deny Judge's Pay Request During Suspension

Law360, Miami (June 06, 2014, 7:27 PM ET) -- The Florida Supreme Court on Friday unanimously denied a Broward County judge's request for it to reconsider its decision that she should not receive pay during a recently ordered suspension, saying it considered her petition a motion for rehearing.

Broward County Judge Gisele Pollack was suspended without pay May 23, pending the outcome of an inquiry into claims filed by the state Judicial Qualifications Commission against her for a drunk driving accident and taking the bench while intoxicated.
