CORRECTED: 'Cobra Sexual Energy' False Ad Class Wins Cert.

Law360, Los Angeles (June 16, 2014, 9:05 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Monday certified a class of thousands of California consumers alleging Natural Balance Inc. falsely advertised its Cobra Sexual Energy nutritional supplement as having aphrodisiac effects, rejecting the company's argument that individual damages varied because some consumers benefited from the product.

During a hearing in Los Angeles, U.S. District Judge Audrey B. Collins issued the ruling despite Natural Balance's argument that the plaintiffs' full-refund damage model was invalid because some consumers reported satisfaction with Cobra Sexual Energy in website comments.
