ConocoPhillips Asks FERC To Punish Entergy

Law360, New York (May 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- ConocoPhillips Co. has slapped Entergy Services Inc. with a formal complaint, accusing the energy giant of violating the policy of the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in the wake of a failed contract agreement between the two companies.

Late last month, Conoco brought its grievances before FERC, requesting that the agency fast-track the complaint in hopes of receiving an answer before June 23.

The dispute dates back to last year and centers around Entergy’s “unilateral termination” of its open access termination tariff, according to the complaint....
