Netgear Hit With Patent Suit Over Wireless Routers

Law360, New York (May 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California technology company has sued Netgear Inc., alleging that its best-selling wireless router infringes two of its patents.

Ruckus Wireless Inc. filed the suit Monday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The company said that the patents-in-suit are fundamental to “intelligent and adaptable Wi-Fi antenna arrays,” and that Netgear's RangeMax 824v3 router incorporates the patented technology.
