Law360, New York (May 09, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- RealNetworks Inc. and Burst.com Inc. have reached a settlement pact in a suit involving patents that Microsoft Corp. and Apple Inc. licensed from Burst for a total of $70 million in two separate settlements.
Under the deal, RealNetworks will pay Burst $533,500 in exchange for a license to a subset of the Burst patents, Burst said Thursday. The deal settles “all differences” between Burst and RealNetworks, Burst added.
