Fabrikant Wins Approval Of Liquidation Plan

Law360, New York (May 15, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A bankruptcy judge has approved M. Fabrikant & Sons Inc.’s liquidation plan, clearing the way for the bankrupt jewelry wholesaler to wrap up its Chapter 11 case.

At a hearing on Monday, Judge Stuart M. Bernstein of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved the joint plan of liquidation filed by Fabrikant and its lenders in November. The most recent amended version of the plan was filed May 9.
