Spat With Hair Salon Proves Pricey For Plaintiffs

Law360, New York (May 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Deeming their suit frivolous, a federal judge has ordered a pair of plaintiffs that brought a labor complaint against hair salon Supercuts Inc. and parent Regis Corp. to pick up the duo's $300,000 tab for attorneys' fees.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Kenneth Hoyt of the Southern District of Texas granted the defendants' motion, holding plaintiffs Katrina and Alan Haskins responsible for the legal costs incurred by the beauty conglomerate and its subsidiary in defending themselves against the discrimination charges.
