EU Launches Antitrust Probe Into Gaz De France

Law360, New York (May 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The European Commission has initiated formal infringement procedures against Gaz de France SA, alleging that the French utility has violated European Union rules governing abuse of a dominant position.

The EC said on Thursday that it begun the proceedings based on inspections carried out in 2006.
