RE Rumor Mill: Eliot Spitzer, Quad Cinema, 1 World Trade

By Kaitlin Ugolik (August 26, 2014, 11:59 AM EDT) -- Eliot Spitzer is reportedly making another big move in New York real estate with the purchase of a large stalled residential project in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn for $165 million. Crain's reported that Spitzer Enterprises is in talks to buy the 2.8-acre Kedem Winery site, where another developer has tried for years to build several residential towers. The other developer, Rector Hylan Corp., reportedly paid $11.3 million for it in 2003. Rector Hylan planned to build more than 400 apartment units in two towers covering more than 600,000 square feet on the site; it's not clear what Spitzer plans to build there, according to The Real Deal....
