Business Owners Take Aim At Florida Gun Law

Law360, New York (May 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Florida business owners are pressing on with their fight to have a law that would enable employees to bring guns onto work premises declared unconstitutional.

On Wednesday, the Florida Chamber of Commerce Inc. and the Florida Retail Federation Inc. filed a motion for a preliminary injunction in the case against the “Bring Your Gun To Work” bill.

The bill is scheduled to take effect July 1.
