Colo. Energy Regulators Nix Bid To Limit Rule Making

Law360, New York (May 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Colorado oil and gas regulators on Thursday shot down attempts from several members of the energy industry to limit or delay parts of a massive rule-making process to rewrite the state's oil and gas regulations.

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission voted, 6-3, to deny a motion from the Colorado Oil & Gas Association and several of its supporters to limit the scope of the proposed rule-making, which the organization had argued did not allow enough time for review.
