RE Rumor Mill: Squarespace, Blackstone, Silverstein

By Kaitlin Ugolik (August 29, 2014, 3:08 PM EDT) -- Website company Squarespace has reportedly agreed to take 100,000 square feet at 225 Varick St. in Manhattan's Hudson Square area, which is growing in popularity with tech companies. Crain's reported that Squarespace is taking the 10th, 11th and 12th floors at the building, which is owned by Trinity Real Estate. The space that Squarespace plans to lease is being freed up as Merrill Corp., one of the printing companies that previously occupied much of the square footage in Hudson Square, according to Crain's, which said Squarespace is paying in the mid-$60s per square foot in rent....
