Power Integrations Drops Suits After USPTO Rejections

Law360, New York (May 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Power Integrations Inc. has agreed to drop an infringement lawsuit against a subsidiary of rival Fairchild Semiconductor Corp. after the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office tentatively rejected all of the asserted claims for PI's integrated circuit patents. However, PI may revive the suit if the patent claims are resuscitated.
