FTC Approves Comments On Illinois Retail Clinic Law

Law360, New York (June 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. Federal Trade Commission staff members have submitted comments to the Illinois Legislature on a bill that would regulate retail health facilities in the state, at the request of a state lawmaker who expressed concern that the bill could be anti-competitive.

The FTC announced Tuesday that it voted unanimously to authorize comments by staffers in its Office of Policy Planning, Bureau of Economics, Bureau of Consumer Protection and Bureau of Competition.
