FTC Subpoenas Intel Over Potential Antitrust Abuses

Law360, New York (June 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intel Corp. has been subpoenaed by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission over its business practices related to competitiveness in the microprocessor market, the company said Friday.

Intel said it received the subpoena last Wednesday and has already provided the FTC with “a considerable amount of information and thousands of documents” as part of an informal investigation that began in 2006.
