UnitedHealth Execs Knew About Backdating: Report

Law360, New York (June 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Recently unsealed documents in the UnitedHealth Group Inc. options backdating class action reportedly indicate that the company's current CEO may have been more involved in the options-granting process than UnitedHealth had previously revealed.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that lawyers for the California Public Employee's Retirement System, the lead plaintiff in the case, have filed unsealed documents that may implicate current UnitedHealth CEO Stephen Helmsley.
