Senator Questions Truthfulness Of Sirius CEO

Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) has reportedly accused Sirius Satellite Radio CEO Mel Karmazin of misleading Congress on aspects of the company's planned merger with XM Satellite Radio Holdings, adding to a growing chorus of unrest surrounding the deal.

Brownback has asked Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) to obtain an unredacted copy of a letter the Consumer Coalition for Competition in Satellite Radio (C3SR) sent to the Federal Communications Commission, the New York Post reported on Tuesday.
