O’Melveny & Myers Lures New Partner From SEC

Law360, New York (March 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- O’Melveny & Myers LLP has snapped up a former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission deputy chief counsel to accentuate its corporate governance and securities practice.

Robert Plesnarski, who served as deputy chief counsel for the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance, will join the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as a partner for the capital market practice.

The addition of Plesnarski will help the firm’s ability to counsel clients in an increasingly complex global regulatory environment on a number of securities and corporate governance law matters.
