By Natalie Rodriguez (November 26, 2014, 1:40 PM EST) -- The middle of November saw commercial real estate services firm Avison Young Inc. significantly expand its Florida reach. First, the company struck a deal to pick up Abood Wood-Fay Real Estate Group LLC, which had been doing business as Colliers International South Florida. At the closing of that deal, which will add 70 members to Avison Young, Abood's founding partners Michael Fay and Donna Abood will become managing directors of Avison Young's Miami office. Just two days later, Avison Young acquired Orlando-based MCRE LLC, or Morrison Commercial Real Estate. After the deal, which brought in 11 new members, MCRE founder Greg Morrison became managing director of the new Avison Young Orlando office....
