Plastech Asks Court To Help In Tooling Dispute

Law360, New York (June 17, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Bankrupt auto parts maker Plastech Engineered Products Inc. is asking the court overseeing its reorganization to compel H.S. Die & Engineering Inc. to turn over the tooling necessary for Plastech to fill orders for parts from General Motors Corp.

Plastech lodged its emergency motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Monday, seeking an order enforcing the automatic stay against H.S. Die and directing H.S. Die to ship the GM tooling to the debtors.
