Powell Goldstein Cuts Staff, Associates

Law360, New York (June 23, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Powell Goldstein LLP has reportedly become the latest law firm to trim staff and associates in response to the national economic downturn, confirming on Friday that it had let go of some of its employees.

“As a result of the general economic situation and its effect on law firms, including our firm, we have needed to reduce operating expenses this year.
