Judge Dismisses Bemis Parent From Labelstock MDL

Law360, New York (June 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out an antitrust case against adhesive-label maker Bemis Company Inc., citing the heightened pleading standard for conspiracy claims set by the U.S. Supreme Court and echoed by district and appellate courts, but he has denied a Bemis unit's motion for dismissal from the multidistrict litigation.
