Papst Targets 4 More Digital Camera Makers

Law360, New York (June 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- German-based licensing company Papst Licensing GmbH & Co. KG has launched a host of new patent infringement suits against digital camera companies in an effort to protect two patents that cover an interface device used in digital cameras.

Papst filed suits against four digital camera companies, Canon Inc., Konica-Minolta Holdings Inc., Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. and Eastman Kodak Co., in separate suits filed on Wednesday and Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
