U.S. Jail Time Suspended For British Cartel Members

Law360, New York (June 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district judge has suspended the U.S. sentences of three energy executives serving prison terms in the United Kingdom for participating in an international marine hose cartel.

Judge Sim Lake of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas on Thursday suspended the sentences for Bryan Allison, the managing director of Dunlop Oil & Marine Ltd.; David Brammar, Dunlop's sales and marketing director; and independent consultant Peter Whittle.
