EU Reverses Deutsche Post Antitrust Ruling

Law360, New York (July 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As the European Commission continues to crack down on postal services, Europe's second-highest court has overturned a 2002 EC ruling that Deutsche Post AG failed to comply with rules on state subsidies to undercut its competitors.

Deutsche Post reported after the Tuesday decision that it will now receive €1 billion in compensation from Germany.
