Law360, New York ( January 21, 2015, 2:12 PM EST) -- In the recently enacted omnibus spending bill, Congress dictates that none of the funds available to the U.S. Department of Justice under the new funding law be used to prevent states from implementing their existing medical marijuana laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession and cultivation of marijuana. The states affected include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia....
