Law360, New York (July 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Video software developer Gotuit Media Corp. has hit Microsoft Corp. with a patent infringement suit over multimedia software that allows users to customize videos they watch online.
In a suit filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Gotuit claims that Microsoft's Silverlight application infringes three of Gotuit's patents for making videos searchable on the Internet.
