Deals Rumor Mill: Informatica, HSBC, TE Connectivity

The data-software company, which has a market value of about $4.5 billion, has tasked Qatalyst Partners to help with the sale process. Among those interested in buying the company could be private equity firms or other software makers, the report speculated. No formal sale process has begun as of yet, and discussions are still "preliminary," according to the report....
