EEOC Reaches Settlement With Md. Hotel Operators

Law360, New York (July 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has reached a settlement with the former and current owners and operators of a Maryland hotel in the case of a former employee who claimed she was fired for complaining about sexual harassment, the agency announced Tuesday.

The EEOC filed suit in September in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland against Spa Motel General Partnership on behalf of Cheryl Gully, a former executive housekeeper at the Best Western Ocean City Hotel & Suites.
