By Benjamin Horney ( January 28, 2015, 6:25 PM EST) -- Connecticut-based SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. is set to offer $2.3 billion for accounting software company Advent Software Inc., Bloomberg reported on Wednesday. According to the report, SS&C's offer will be to the tune of $45 per share. Advent has been seeking buyers since at least March, when reports said the company was looking to net $1.5 billion in a sale. Qatalyst Partners has been leading the sale process....
