Berkowitz Finishes With Skilling, Petrocelli Up Next

Law360, New York (April 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The tension between former Enron chief Jeff Skilling and federal prosecutor Sean Berkowitz was not nearly as high on Wednesday as on previous days, but the remainder of the government’s cross-examination was anything but amicable.

Berkowitz started the day by telling Skilling he would no longer permit lengthy answers and explanations, and on one occasion even cut off the former CEO as he tried to elaborate on a yes or no question.
