Aloha Lender Balks At Sonnenschein's Bill

Law360, New York (July 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The biggest lender in the bankruptcy case of Aloha Airlines Inc. has lodged a protest against Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal LLP's fee request, arguing that the firm is not entitled to the hundreds of thousands of dollars it is demanding.

GMAC Commercial Finance LLC told the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawaii on Friday that Sonnenschein should not be paid the $250,000 it recently demanded for its work as the legal counsel for the official committee of unsecured creditors.
