Statewide Mortgage Wins Bid To Toss FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (July 17, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has tossed a former receptionist's wage-and-hour lawsuit against Statewide Mortgage Group LLC for insufficient facts to support its claims, but will consider an amended version if the plaintiff fills in the blanks.

Judge Gregory Presnell, of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, granted Statewide's motion to dismiss the complaint in an order Tuesday.
